Biography

Sloan Johnson has been involved in the field of Neurofeedback and Functional Medicine for the last decade during which time she has had the good fortune to study with many of the pioneers and masters in the field. As a practitioner she employs a wide repertory of neurofeedback and other modalities in accordance with the individual needs of her clients. She has a keen interest in the relationship between physiology, the brain, and quality of life.

Sloan’s goal is to help her clients acquire the tools to create their own good health, happiness, and healthy aging, using QEEG and other scientifically based testing to determine areas in need of follow–up.

Each spring she travels to Chorten Gonpa monastery in Sikkim. There she is immersed in both study and practice, and emerges rejuvenated, and with new knowledge for a better practice here at home. This is done with the sincere intent of benefiting all.

She is a longtime member of the Biofeedback Society of California.

She has been asked, and has contributed to published research studies, and books. Most recently she co–authored the Parents Guide to Brain Health for a Peninsula–based School system, the guide can be applied to people of all ages!
